Asian Neighborhood Design Celebrates 40 years of Community Service with “40 Projects for 40 Years"”

As AND approaches our 40th anniversary coming up in 2013, we wanted a unique concept to celebrate, honor and highlight our four decades of service revitalizing communities, designing for social change with our award-winning architectural design. So for the next 40 weeks, up to our anniversary gala event in 2013, we’ll be highlighting one key AND project each week, pulled from the vault of our four decades of passionately serving low-income individuals and communities, right here on our web site and on Facebook. We hope you’ll enjoy the story behind the designing and building of each enduring AND project. So please stay tuned and watch this space for AND’s “40 for 40!”

Former ETC Student Keenia Williams To Be Nationally Recognized For Her Bravery

In October 2011, Ms. Williams bravely risked her life to save truck driver Michael Finerty from the flames of a freeway crash for which she received a Good Samaritan Award from Mayor Ed Lee. Now, she is one of 20 finalists for The Citizen Before Self Award , which is the highest honor a non - military, everyday citizen can receive from the White House. We couldn't be more proud of Keenia.
