Minna Park Family Housing is a new four story, twenty-six unit apartment building that provides affordable housing in the dense "South of Market" area of San Francisco. Units in the Minna Russ Family Housing development is organized around a courtyard. A semi-public park is created on the site (along the property's western edge) to provide an open space for this high-density neighborhood.

The ground floor consists of a parking garage, residential units, community rooms, lobby, office and utilities. The second, third and fourth floors provide one, two, three and four beroom flats and two story townhouse units. Exterior walkways provide additional outdoor space for the families as well as improved natural light and ventilation to the units.

The simi-public park ( 'Tutubi Park' ) on the site was designed and named with extensive input by the neighborhood residents.

The park is now used for various community events such as the Alleyway Clean-up Day, the Neighborhood Watch Meeting, and the Community Planting Day (urban farm concept).

Asian Neighborhood Design's FYR program also provides on-site educational training for youths and residents.
