Enterprise Housing is the development of housing specifically designed to accommodate home-based businesses. By encouraging people to start businesses they can operate from their homes, this type of housing stands to increase income and lower the cost of living for some of San Francisco’s most vulnerable residents.
AND’s Architecture component partnered with the Family Business
Center at the USF School of Business to assemble this monograph to better
illustrate the promise Enterprise Housing offers our city. Our goals are
to illustrate the tremendous benefits that Enterprise Housing could bring
to San Francisco and suggest ways to turn this enormous opportunity into
a gratifying reality.
